Where do you most like to spend the summer?
A wet spring makes everything grow lush: countless figs, lemons and olives. Come to rest and recharge, or come for the action.
After a relatively wet spring and temperatures slowly climbing towards 25 degrees, everything is growing lush. The choice is yours: come to rest and recharge in our valley, or come for the action instead.
Abundance in the valley
Figs, olives, almonds, lemons
The weeds reap the rewards too, and the grapes in the groves we help tend are growing like mad; we regularly have to prune and thin them out. Our two fig trees confirm that it is a fruitful year: the fruits are countless.
And the same goes for the lemon and olive trees. A few more weeks and you will be able to pick the first figs.
Overvloed in de vallei
Olive week, end of October
For the Olive week (27 to 31 October 2025) we have three groves to gather olives in. The first registrations are in, but there are still a few places. Three days of picking together in the grove, going to the press together and filling the bottles with pure, fresh olive oil. Including four nights, delicious meals and a wine tasting. Come on your own or bring sisters-in-law, brothers-in-law, friends or your partner.

Not in the mood to pick olives? Then come at some other time in the coming months. Resting in the shade under a carob tree is always an option, as is sunbathing by the pool or at the sea.

If you think there is no paradise left on earth, you are mistaken. We found it, at Finca Lliber. Both houses are fantastic, on beautiful grounds with a lovely swimming pool and sweet chickens that provide fresh eggs.
