Costa Blanca

The Costa Blanca is more than white beaches and sea. Just a little way from the coastline stretches a green hinterland of wine valleys and mountain villages, with one of the healthiest climates in Europe. The Costa Blanca stands for living well, and it reaches far beyond the shoreline: the inland area behind it counts as part of it too. So it covers the coastal strip from Valencia to Torrevieja and, along its whole length, about 35 km inland. And there is a great deal to experience there.

The region

Between sea and mountains

The Costa Blanca runs from Valencia to Torrevieja and reaches some 35 kilometres inland. We are in that hinterland, in the Vall de Pop, with the beaches half an hour away and Alicante airport about an hour away.

Llíber is our village: small and picturesque, with two little bars, a lot of hairdressers and a camping shop. A little further on lies Xaló with its Saturday market and shops. The coastal towns of Calpe, Moraira, Jávea and Dénia are all within a 30-minute drive of our house.

Hundreds of walking routes, eight golf courses within forty minutes, climbing areas, excellent restaurants and cycling roads where the professionals train: the region combines beach and mountains within an hour.
